I figure as long as your doing “routine” business that’s not going to get messy, then toilet-based knitting should be a allowed.

I mean, I wouldn’t tell the person receiving an item that the knitting was partially done on the toilet.

All I know is my son-in-law told me my daughter knits in the tub

Err… though I’m all for knitting extremes, I just might have to say no to that one, however reading knitting magazines (or Yarn Harlot books) is perfectly acceptable. 🙂

  4. Jackie says:

    I’ve considered it.

I agree with Chris; do not tell the recipient where the knitting was done.

LOVE your question…and I was recently thinking the same thing. And you can hear my answer on the newest podcast. BTW, I wanted to buy that blue with beads sock bag today from Joanne’s…but she wouldn’t let me…wahhhhhh!

I’m adverse to spending that much time on the toliet. Toliet is for reading patterns. Odd, this comment was voiced on one of the other blogs that I read… are you guys in some club that I don’t know about?

Chris could probably get a fair amount of knitting done if I kept a project basket in the bathroom 😉

Hee… er, knitting in the bath/spa is cool!

Oh dear,I think it may be time for an intervention.Toilet knitting is strictly for the chronically constipated.Seriously though? On the toilet?I was pretty secure in the knowledge that you couldn’t actually spend your entire day knitting but…I may be wrong.
    P.S. Hemaroids anyone?

Now I didn’t SAY I knit on the toilet — merely a topic for discussion…lol
